Within the framework of action point C4.1 of the Belgian eHealth 3.0 roadmap "multidisciplinary electronic exchanges", the INAMI-RIZIV, in partnership with other health actors, is currently developing and implementing solutions for multidisciplinary electronic data exchanges via structured, standardised and codified "Care Sets".

The aim of the project is to make a transition from the current static first line Sumehr to an evolving, dynamic, modular, historicised and multidisciplinary Sumehr composed of different Care Sets that will be exchanged through the regional vaults (Vitalink for Flanders, RSB for Brussels, RSW for Wallonia) between the first line and second line healthcare providers.

The list of the Care Sets currently being defined is the following:

  • AllergyIntolerance
  • Vaccination
  • Medicaltion line
  • Referral prescription
  • Patient will
  • Problem
  • Family history
  • Procedure
  • Observation
  • Addictions
  • Congenital disorders
