Frequently Asked Question
Dear CSCT Members and non-Members,
We are happy to invite you to the CSCT basic course on interoperability which will be held on the 7th of November 2023. The date and times of this event have been chosen in collaboration with the Belgian Federal authorities to allow participants of the Data Capability kickoff meeting who wish for a short crash course on interoperability/data models/FHIR/SNOMED CT basics to attend both events with sufficient time to cross over from one venue to the next.
This course will be held as an hybrid event, both online and on site at the Bastenie auditorium, CHU Saint-Pierre, 322 rue Haute, 1000 Bruxelles. For the on site event, there is limited seating (100 places) so please do not book a physical place if you don't intend to come on site.
Half of the on site places will be reserved for CSCT Members until the 27th of October. After that date, the unused on site CSCT members places will be made available to all.
The course will address the following topics:
- Why structure and standardize health data
- Finding your way with data models
- The Belgian Care Sets (co-presented with the BeSafeShare team - INAMI/RIZIV)
- The European Health Data Space models
- How those data models relate to HL7 FHIR exchange standard (co-presented with the Belgian eHealth FHIR team)
- The basics of the SNOMED CT terminology
The course will be dispensed in English with slides available in French and Dutch (unless we find a way to provide automatic AI translation on the fly).
Please stay tuned for more updates and watch out for the definitive program with the time slot of each speaker.
The course will be recorded for later viewing for those unable to attend.
The slides that will be used during the course are now downloadable on this page.
